Overview & Highlights

Welcome to the culinary haven of Lesehan La Luna, an extraordinary ikan bakar restaurant nestled in the serene landscapes of Banyupoh, Buleleng, Bali. A hidden gem along the bustling Jl. Singaraja-Gilimanuk, this eatery is a delightful hub for seafood lovers, particularly those who adore grilled fish.

At Lesehan La Luna, the experience begins with sheer freshness. You are invited to select your fish, caught fresh that very morning. This ensures a dining experience that not only tantalizes the taste buds but also honors the local fishing traditions. As Cash Brown noted in his review, ordering a fish and having it grilled to perfection with a mild spicy rub over hot coals makes for a memorable meal. This attention to freshness and flavor elevates traditional Balinese cuisine to new heights.

The ambiance here is simple yet inviting, with friendly staff ready to assist you despite any language barriers, which adds a layer of authenticity to your visit. As Mack describes, the friendliness of the staff combined with the rustic setting contributes to an "amazing local experience" that should not be missed.

For those seeking variety, while Lesehan La Luna specializes in ikan bakar, they also offer delicious options like fried shrimp, pleasing P.R. with its "genial" offerings. However, some guests like Devvy Turley suggest expanding the menu to include more vegetable options, indicating an opportunity for further enhancement.

The affordability of the dishes is yet another highlight, with many customers remarking on the great value offered without compromising on taste. As noted by Renaud Wicky, the food is both "good and cheap," making it a fantastic choice for budget-conscious travelers and locals alike.

In concluding, Lesehan La Luna is not just a meal; it is an experience that encapsulates the essence of Bali’s grilled seafood culture. With its commitment to freshness, affordability, and a welcoming atmosphere, it captures the heart of its patrons, making every visit a celebration of local flavor. Don’t miss the chance to indulge at this unmissable culinary delight in Bali!

Best fresh fish I have had in Bali!! Choose a fish caught that morning and it will be cooked to perfection in a mild spicy rub over hot coals. Doesn’t get any better than this!! Inexpensive and delicious not to mention beautiful friendly staff.

Toller Ikan Bakar zu günstigen Preisen. Gebratene Garnelen sind ebenfalls genial. Sehr nette Eigentümer.

Nice place , good food , unfortunately sometimes not all menu are available. Will be nice if they can put more veggies in the menu.

Amazing local experience! We ordered Ikan Bakar and selected our fresh Mahi-Mahi, which was cooked to perfection (Not often you get that in Indo!) Staff were friendly, don’t speak much English but that adds to the experience!

Good and cheap food. Long time waiting for it but good
